In lieu of flowers, Dr. Horowitz's family has asked for donations to the foundation established in her name. It's called The Helene and Charles Horwitz Scholarship Fund for Altruistic Medical Students, c/o Minnesota Medical Foundation. I'd like to suggest we contribute $100 to the foundation.
I'll plan to write the check at some point next week, so if you have any reservations, let your voice be heard.
