Grad speaker & SNMA request

Hi everybody!

 

First of all-great news - Richard Heinzl accepted our offer of $5000 plus hotel and accommodations. We have a graduation speaker-yay!  And I spoke ahead of time with both Dean Powell and Dean Watson, who both approved of this choice.

He also is willing to come the evening before the graduation to talk with students in an informal setting, for anyone who's interested.

 

On a completely different note- Zeke has contacted me on behalf of SNMA to request our help.  There are 6 students who will be visiting the TC campus next weekend. They will be going out to dinner on Friday as they usually do with the hosted students - but Zeke and Mary Tate thought it would be nice to invite these 6 or so students to Winterball.  They have asked us if we would be willing to give the prospectives "discount" tickets of $10.  I asked if Mary Tate would be willing to subsidize the tickets, but I think she would prefer if we could instead discount the tickets.

 

Does anyone have any strong feelings either way about the SNMA topic? I wanted to make sure everyone got a chance to voice any opinions on this.
