Saturday so won't be able to make the meeting. Amy will run the
meeting on Thursday while I am entertaining out-of-towners and running
around like a crazy woman. :)

Agenda Class Council 7/10/08
1. Committees and goals
a. Match Day Committee
-Amy Kitt is chair
GOALS: Meet with Dr. Watson and Linda occasionally; timing of event
itself (Fairview pays for it); decide on location for lunch after the
event (Health Partners and Allina sponsors most, please find out how
much they will sponsor); decide on location for party that evening;
gift certificate for Scott Davenport
b. Graduation Committee
-Katya, Molly Ness, Nicole Gales are co-chairs
GOALS: Plan and budget a social event for the week of graduation (last
year's class did Park Tavern, other classes have done golfing BBQ
Solera); find personal touches for graduation (piano players, a
special speaker, etc--ideas, anyone?)
c. Yearbook Committee
-Shirlee, Kate Graham are co-chairs. Steph has discussed the
following with them.
GOALS: Raise enough money through ads and donations so that yearbooks
are free (class council can probably cover up to $3000)(we will have a
better idea of how much will be earned when Linda sends out requests
for ads in the fall); allow people to reserve books starting in the
spring.
2. Social Event for end of period 2
-last mtg we decided it was too hectic with the end of period 1 being
right before the 4th. So we should try for a big bash at the end of
period 2!
-Should we try for a BBQ, something different? Where most will feel included?
