ongoings with our class council

I dont know who will be present tonight, but we won't have a formal meeting. We really are slow right now. I anticipate things will pick up around Match Day and Graduation events.

 

ONGOING BUSINESS. The graduation committee, match day committee, and yearbook committee pretty much have everything in control for now. 

 

SOCIAL. Seeing as our next planned class get together will be in mid-March around Match Day, it would be nice to have something like tubing again. No bus this time.  What do you all think? other ideas? We have been slacking on the party planning... let's get something going! We dont even have any other business to take care of!

 

OTHER. One other thing that i have in the works is a lecture about "How Doctors Get Paid." I've met with Ted Thompson only once about it, but basically, I think there is a lot of confusion amongst our peers about how docs get paid, how different places pay, what's the RVU, etc.  So we are going to ask some of the faculty to come in and talk about it.  It'll probably be the same day as "Transition to Residency."  We can talk about it again when things start to take shape.
