Application of UML for Modelling Gully Erosion!

Sounds like a domain modeling task?!
UML class diagrams are very well suited to model a domain and derive the
data model needed to handle data for such a domain.

We use a sequence diagram for dialogue between objects. Can you explain what exactly you want to model? I will try to give you a hand.
