I deleted some very important PDF files on my android OnePlus 5. I desperately needed to recover the files so I downloaded and purchased a monthly subscription to UltData. First of all nowhere does it say on the website or the user guide that the phone needs to be rooted to use the software. Only after I purchased it and tried to use it did it say it needs an advanced root. And then it takes you to some shady Rooting app website (KingoRoot). I was not comfortable using the app anymore so I decided to cancel my subscription immediately as it is a recurring payment. However nowhere on their website does it have that option. I'm 30$ short and I still don't have my documents. I'm scared I'll lose another 30$ in a month. Please help.
You should launch the program on your computer after downloading and installing. Using a USB cable, connect the Android device to be restored to your PC. In order to enable the data recovery software to recognize your android device, enable USB debugging.
