Dear Friend,

One of the biggest barriers to fighting climate change is the fact that
major financial institutions continue to invest in the fossil fuel
companies that are profiteering from the destruction of our climate.

To weaken the power of these coal, oil and gas companies, we need to make
it clear that it is immoral to profit from the destruction of humanity,
and it is immoral for anyone to invest in this destruction.

Amherst College, Boston College, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
and Smith College have some of the largest endowments in Massachusetts,
totaling more than $14 billion combined. So these schools could have a
major impact investing instead in clean energy, and taking a stand against
fossil fuel companies and their radical profit model, by divesting all
funds from fossil fuel companies.

Tell Massachusetts' colleges and universities: Stop investing in fossil
fuel companies and fueling climate change.
