Benefits of Offshore Wind in the Atlantic Surpass Oil and Gas
On Jan 15 Oceana.org, the world’s largest organization focused solely on ocean conservation, released a new report that found offshore wind energy in the Atlantic would produce twice the number of jobs and amount of energy as those promised by the oil and gas industry. The report sought to provide an accurate comparison of oil and gas to wind energy as well as outline the implications of each option on a state-by-state basis.
