Its in this regard that INNOVA MANAGEMENT CONSULTING LTD has organized a Consultancy skills Development training to equip you with such skills so that you can start not only thinking out of the box but also out of the gate. Honestly how long will you keep making others rich when for you, you keep struggling to meet day today basic needs of life. Remember success is not for the faint hearted who fear to take risks in life but for those that are ready take well calculated risks in life. So I encourage you to take a risk and attend this training and i assure you that your life will not only remain the same but will also explode so that you can be able to achieve your dreams in life..

The two day training will take place at NANJING Restaurant and Motel, plot 15, Impala Avenue, Kololo, Kampala, Uganda on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September 2015. The fees will be three hundred and fifty thousand Ug.Shs (350,000/=) only which is equivalent of about one hundred us dollars(100$). This fees will cater for break tea, lunch, other refreshments, venue, training materials,facilitators and training certificates.

You need to confirm your attendance so that we can book for you space as few slots are left by paying in Barclays Bank account number 6000575583 in the names of Innocent Nuwagaba who is the team leader or you can call 0782929024 to bring cash by Friday 11th 2015. After either paying in the bank with the evidence of pay slip or bringing cash, you will be issued with a receipt and then your space to attend the training will be booked automatically. In case there are those who may find it convenient to come with cash on the first day of the training, please let me know early by sending me an email using innocent...@gmail.com or calling me on 0782929024 and I will see what I can do to book for you space in time.

The training content will cover the following areas:

Introduction to Management Consultancy

Developing expression of interest

Developing and how to interpret terms of reference

Developing technical proposals

Costing technical proposals

Developing technical bids

Developing financial bids

World Bank proposal formats

Evaluating technical and financial proposals and bids

Developing inception reports

Developing Draft reports

Developing Final Reports

Please come with laptops since we shall be using them to practically develop the above documents. The training with be starting with power point presentations and then the above consultancy tools and deliverables will be shown and given to you so that you can see how they are usually structured and developed. You will then be give a soft copy if the templates i have been using to develop such consultancy documents so that you can use them from time to time to do your own consultancy work.

Since the training is going to be practically hands on, the facilitators will work with you one on one to discuss in groups and develop your own consultancy tools and deliverables which finally will be presented so that we can ascertain whether you have acquired the skills to develop such consultancy tools and deliverables on your own. In case there is any issues with your presentations, we will guide you further on how best to polish up your work so that you can have the skills to actually develop such consultancy tools and deliverables on your own as a future consultant.

We shall issue you with a training certificate at the end of the training and we plan to keep in touch with each of you so that we can continue helping you in case you want to start doing your own consultancy work by working with some of you that will be interested on some our consultancy projects from time to time till you will get confidence that you can now do such work on your own.

We have also formed the Uganda Association of Consultants where I am the patron and so far who ever goes through this consultancy skills development training automatically becomes a member. The vision of the association is to work with Government, Private Sector, Civil Society Organisations, Bilateral and Multi lateral agencies in regulating consultancy business so that it can be done in the best professional and ethical manner by certifying and recommending the right consultants to work with. We shall therefore soon put stringent conditionalities for those intending to join the association either as individuals or firms by charging them a high member ship and subscription fee

So far those that have gone through this training have great testimonies where some of them have used the certificate we gave them to get better placement and win better consultancy work. One of them is called General Deng, a retired army officer from Southern Sudan who came back to see me last Saturday and told me that after our training, he has been able to get better consultancy opportunities. He also told me that after our training, he found out that most people who are doing consultancy in southern Sudan are gambling and so he would wish to have the right people who have gone through our training to work with.

We also intend to continue working with some of you that go through this training if you are available by paying for you an air ticket, meals, accommodation and a certain percentage that that we shall agree on for doing consultancy work when ever we get consultancy work to do especially in countries such as Southern Sudan, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, DRC, Ghana, Gambia etc because there is always a lot of consultancy work in such countries that need to be done by the right people like you and me that will be having the right required expertise.
