HR01 - duplicate data

Hello,

I have created a BusObj report in the HR universe.  

While I have "Job Effective Sequence Options" set to "Max,"  the data returned has duplicate records.

Specifically, when I added Supervisor to the report fields, I get the current and previous supervisor.  (see yellow and orange in attachment)  Additionally, if their Appt Dept id changed, I'm getting two rows with each dept ID . (see yellow highlight).  These people do NOT have more than one active appointment.

I've included screen shots of the query, the output and the prompts screen.

I'm hoping someone will have an insight to how I can fix the report to eliminate the duplicate/old data.

Hi Samantha,

I don't see any attachments (and it looks like the file you linked in your email requires access).

But my first guess on this is the admin dept data, as referenced in the image below. Try adding these fields into your query and report and see if they explain why you have duplicate records. Sometimes the administrative dept doesnt get changed (correctly). If this doesn't explain it, please reply back to me with the specific query snapshots, or better yet send a copy of the report to my BI inbox and I will look at it for you and work one on with with this.

The HR group within ITS may be able to help you with this as well.
