Microsoft is retiring the Internet Explorer web browser on June 15, 2022, and deactivating it on all Windows workstations. Deactivation will take place after June 15, 2022. If you try to launch Internet Explorer after the update, you will automatically be redirected to Microsoft Edge. Business Objects Applet mode works only in Internet Explorer as of now, and power users who use Applet mode for various tasks such as complex subqueries or copying report blocks from BI launchpad to Excel will need to use Microsoft Edge as the alternative for IE browser.
ResolutionTo use Microsoft Edge as the alternative for IE browser in Business Objects:
Note : The setting expires in 30 days by default and users need to update this setting every 30 days.
