Workaround for BO Scheduled Reports failing with error : The prompt whose ID is...

Dear BO Users, 

After the recent BO upgrade, some scheduled reports have been failing with the error message: The prompt whose ID is xxx may have been changed since it can’t be found in the list of document’s prompt [xxx,yyy,zzz].Please re-create the schedule of the document to take into consideration its latest ID.

This issue is occurring randomly and we didn't find any specific trend for these failures. While we are working with the software vendor to find the root cause and fix the issue, please follow the below workaround steps to reschedule the reports to run successfully : 

step1) Go to the folder location and open(view) the report.
step2) Enter the prompt values manually and refresh the report. Please enter as many as prompt values so that the report refreshes in less time (You can purge the report along with the prompt values if you do not want to display the refreshed data). 
step3) Save the report to the same location.(just click save button) and close the report
step4) Reschedule the report in the usual method (make sure to check the prompt values and "apply" button is working).

This is a one-time process and the same reports would not fail with the prompt related error message again. Please raise an incident and assign to Business Objects team so that we can assist you if required.
