Quotas on file space

Greetings,

I am hoping to learn from the experience of others regarding quotas on
NT/Win2000/Neware/Unix.
I am specifically interested in what others have done to manage disk space
allocation.
While I am interested in Quota management software that you have used, I am
more
interested in the size of the quota you implemented, whether they were hard
or soft
quotas, and what drove your decision. I am also interested in any other
interesting
information you wish to pass on--such as the user reaction to setting
quotas. I would
even be interested in hearing your personal reaction to using quotas to
manage more
disk space. Hey, disk is cheap. Why not simply buy more disk space?
