Laboratory The Biological Mass Spectrometry Laboratory at the Department
of Human Genetics, the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (MSSM) has one
position available immediately. The successful candidate will be
responsible for both service work and collaboration research work for
identification and characterization of proteins using biological mass
spectrometry.
Qualifications include a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and
Biochemistry with background in protein chemistry. Experience in mass
spectrometry and HPLC is an advantage but not required. We will train you
mass spectrometry.

(4) Research Positions in Study of Reactive Metal Clusters

RESEARCH POSITIONS AVAILABLE
One postdoctoral associate and two Ph.D. assistant positions are
available in the group of Professor Dong-Sheng Yang at the Department of
Chemistry, University of Kentucky.
The work will be on experimental and theoretical studies of reactive metal
clusters and organometallic complexes. The metal-containing species will
be produced in supersonic molecular beams using pulsed laser vaporization
of metal targets, and characterized using laser spectroscopy,
time-of-flight mass spectrometry, and density functional theory.
Spectroscopic techniques that are currently used include zero kinetic
energy (ZEKE) photoelectron, threshold photoionization, and

Four sessions (Urban Transportation and Highway Development, ITS and
Transportation Environmental Issues, Invited Guest Session, and Overseas
Role in Transportation Development) will be held. The conference will be

Does anybody knows about the drug - Lamivudine (3TC) to cure Hepatitis B?
I have a friend in China who has chronic active Hepatitis B. I heard that
in Hong Kong, you can buy Lamivudine without prescription. Any infomration
about which drug store in Hong Kong sells this kind of drug?
Also I heard that in China some hospitals are starting experimentusing
this drug to treat Hepatitis B. Can you share more information about this?
I would like to know which hospitals are using this drug, especially in
Nanjing or Shanghai areas.
