Outside access to EECS and ENGIN Newsservers

Outside access has been set up for the EECS and ENGIN News Servers.
Users of the two news servers

news.eecs.umich.edu
news.engin.umich.edu

can now set up a password so that they can access the servers from any location
outside of the College of Engineering.

To set the passwords for yourself, go to

https://www.eecs.umich.edu/eecs/dco/news/pwds/getform.html

and follow the directions. You must supply an email address within the
College of Engineering for the form to work.

Once you have submitted the form, you will receive email with the password
that is assigned to you. The password updates will take place overnight,
so please allow up to 24 hours for access to begin.
