ACROSS THE DIVIDE
The Minneapolis-based contemporary music group Ensemble 61 presents a
concert of new and experimental French and German music at Studio Z in St.
Paul, Minnesota on May 7, 2011. The concert features soprano Carrie
Henneman Shaw, flutist Linda Chatterton, pianist Matthew McCright,
percussionist Erik Barsness and guitarist Jesse Langen and includes music
by Wolfgang Rihm, Helmut Lachenmann, Hans Thomalla, Tristan Murail,
Matthias Pintscher, Olivier Messiaen and Philippe Hurel.
