Performance Opportunity-Parlor Concert-May 15

Call for Performers:

There is still time to sign up for the next Parlor Concert on Sunday, May 15 at the home of Kim Lee, 10509 Misty Morning Lane, Eden Prairie, MN (952-90-7417).* The concert begins at 2:00, with rehearsal time at 1:00 with Jeana Ogren, UMFA accompanist for the event. Unaccompanied pieces or other ensembles are also welcome. Kim has a very large house, and would love to fill it with 50+ flutists, so if you've been thinking about playing in the past on a parlor concert, but just haven't done it--now is the time to sign up!  Also, if you've never been to a parlor concert before and want to check it out, this is the time to see what they are like. These events are a great way to connect with other flutists in the area, and there's always plenty of food and lively discussion following the performance. Kim has also invited anyone who is interested to bring their flutes and a music stand and read flute choir music afterwards.
