Hey guys, i received two UMDK Kits a little while ago but haven't had any time to really do anything with them until now.

Ive gone ahead and followed the wiki and was able to get up to the basic signal test but it failed. (loader -w sigtest.bin:0 -x 2 -t trace.bin:2048)

The md5sum definitely did not match and it appears there are TONS of errors when comparing the results and expected .txt files.

I don't have time currently, but ill see if i can't attach the file here shortly. I took the liberty of checking over the soldered connections on the board and all appears just fine. i Re-heated all of the solder joints just to make sure that they were good. Does anyone have any suggestions otherwise until i can upload the file showing the differences between results and expected.txt files?

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Jeff,

Can you confirm you're working with a Linux installation on real
physical hardware, and not a VM (VirtualBox, VMware, etc)?

Presumably you ran the checksum test successfully? What throughput did you get?

As far as debugging trace diffs is concerned, there's no way we can
guess what the errors you see are; we need to see your trace file. You
won't be able to attach it, it'll be too big, even bzipped. You'll
need to upload it to some sort of file-sharing service (I use DropBox,
and it works nicely).
