Supplier prices

OK, so in order to estimate the price differential between suppliers
in China, I asked for quotes for 10x of the two most expensive chips,
the FPGA and the USB interface.

UK: £237.12 inc. delivery to London
CN: ~£140 inc. delivery from Shenzhen to Shanghai, then from Shanghai
to London

The Chinese price has some elements of estimation. The component cost
is $186, delivery to Shanghai $5.80, Paypal fees are about 6%,
delivery to UK is about $10, and 1 GBP ~ 1.6 USD. It's a lot more
messing about, but it is a lot cheaper, so it's probably worthwhile.

I'd be interested to see the best prices for XC6SLX9-2TQG144C &
CY7C68013A-56PVXC that you guys can get in Germany and Brazil.

Guys,

Chris:  I would use Farnell, RS and Digikey over in Germany (although I rarely buy many Components these days).

I have started to use this Group in China and Singapore:


I dare say that the Prices will be pretty much the same for me in Germany as they are for you in the UK, but I'll check that Tonight ;)
