Hey guys,
There are a couple of things I would like to cover in this email.
First, I know that many of your are receiving several copies of this
message, and that is because we have several mailing lists. This can
be a problem. I'll be trying to fix this by making one mailing list.
But in order for me to do that, I am going to need everyone who would
like to be in the mailing list, and in the club, to reply this message
just once with:
Your full name,
UMD email,
and preferred email.
Secondly, many of your have been asking about the status of Kendo
club. Well, last semester I inherited kendo club in such bad condition
that it ceased to exist. I've pretty much been trying to create a
completely new club which has been a ridiculously complicated and time
consuming process. I tried to do everything over the summer, and
thought that I did, to find that I only registered the club for one
out of the three things for a club to hold regular practice times on
school property. Considering it took all summer to get registered for
just one of the three, I doubt that I will have any good news when it
comes to having practice times any time this semester.
I will put as much time into this as I can spare, but as I am doing
this all by myself on top of a 18 credit course load, so I cannot
promise that it will be anytime soon. If anyone has any experience
with SGA and/or CRS, and would like to help speed up this process,
please let me know in your reply email.
