Hey guys!
Are you a pre-med student who hasn't taken the MCAT yet? Are you curious about the format and content of the new MCAT? Are you stressed because you feel that you may be unprepared for such a drastic change? Well, fear no more because I bear wonderful news!
Our very own professors, Dr. Joelle Presson, Dr. Bonnie Dixon, and Dr. Todd Cooke, will host a panel discussion and analysis of the new MCAT. Fortunately for us, they already took several portions of the new MCAT. Based on this knowledge and information, they will be answering questions regarding the style of the new exam and classes that will provide the skills necessary to be successful on the new MCAT. Furthermore, Dr. Aaron Saguil, Assistant Dean of Admission at USU School of Medicine, will join the panel as well to discuss MCAT scoring and how medical schools may interpret these new scores.
The panel will be held on Thursday March 12th from 4:00-5:30pm and will be located in ASY2203. All AMSA members will receive 1 bonus point that will fulfill either a GBM or service point requirement. Please look for our Vice President, Brigitte Grewe, who will sign you in and ensure that you get the point you deserve. Nevertheless, feel free to invite your friends because all students are encouraged to attend.
Besides that, have a wonderful spring break! See you guys soon!
