Hey everyone,

Due to inclement weather conditions, we will NOT have an AMSA GBM today, February 17. Stay warm and enjoy your snow day!

That being said, AMSA week is coming up! Next week will be packed with fun-filled AMSA events (service and flex points aplenty!)

1. UMD Career Fair 
Wednesday - Friday, February 18 - 20, 12pm - 5pm. STAMP
Lots of great networking opportunities - dress to impress and work on your professional skills. 
*NOTE: We will NOT offer a service/GBM point for attending the fair unless you've signed up to volunteer for AMSA.

2. Bone Marrow Donor Registration Drive
Monday, February 23, 10am - 4pm. Prince George's Room (STAMP)

​3. INOVA Emergency Blood Drive​

4. HPAO AACOM Presentation for Pre-Meds Interested in Osteopathic Medicine
Wednesday, February 25th, 5pm - 6pm. Location TBD
Gina Moses, from AACOM, will speak about the Osteopathic (DO) medical track and the new application system in place for DO schools this year. They will no longer use AACOMAS but will use the liaison international that many other common application services are going to. Counts as either one GBM or flex point.

5. Jason's Deli Fundraiser & Social
Wednesday, February 25, 5pm - 10pm.

6. UMD Suture Clinic
​Thursday, February 26, 7pm - 9pm. STAMP Colony Ballroom​
The US Army is hosting a suture clinic for AMSA, Pre-Med Society, and Charles R. Drew. Join us as we welcome ​Col. Fredrick Lough, M.D. to teach us how to suture. First come first serve basis - only 200 spots available, so get here early! Free pizza and a flex point for all attendees.
