UMD WF Alumni- Amazon on iGive and more good info!

Hi Everyone!

 

Many of you will remember hearing about iGive.com, a website through which a portion of the amount that you spend shopping online will be donated to a cause...

 

I was just looking at the iGive store list today and found that Amazon is now giving 2%!  Since Amazon dominates online shopping for many of us, this is super exciting!!!! (Note: It will contribute to the cause total, but will not be added to the amount that you have personally raised, so don't worry if it doesn't show up there.)  Ebay is on there too!  There are now 728 participating stores!  Also, if each person who signs up this year and shops within 45 days (Amazon doesn't count for this offer), the WF will get a $5 bonus.

 

If you are not signed up for iGive, please consider doing so- the WF receives donations checks for your regular online shopping- just use the links on the iGive site to access stores.  The WF has earned $368 over the past 2 years on iGive.  Please consider passing along iGive info to parents, family members, churches, friends, and any students you know (textbook sales on Amazon!)- and keep it in mind when you begin holiday shopping.
