40 Days of Prayer for Campus Ministry

Hi everyone! 

 

I am remiss for not sending this on Monday, but I am excited to share with you some information about an effort for 40 Days of Prayer for Campus Ministry!

 

This began with a Facebook group called United Methodist Campus Ministry- Raising Up Christian Leaders.  The goal was to have 1000 members by August 17th, the commencement of 40 Days of Prayer.  The goal has been met and exceeded with 1,309 members at the present time!  This speaks to the significance of campus ministry in the lives of the students involved with it, specifically to the role of campus ministry in discerning God's call. 

 

As we embark on church-wide prayer effort, we invite you to join in the chorus of voices praying for campus ministry.  Attached is a compiled guide of daily prayers.  Please consider sharing this with your church or family as well.  The link to this is available at www.collegeunion.org/prayer.

 

I really love the idea of all of us praying together!
