Dear WF Alumni,

 

Many of us have had the wonderful privilege of enjoying Kim's musical talents and listening to her share her story of how God has worked through the blues in her life.  Through her own experience, she has shared with us her deep belief in the necessity of voicing lament and of bringing all of who we are into church.  

 

Recently she has written about her experience in an entry submitted to a contest in a magazine.  Please take a minute to enjoy her piece and then give her your vote (It takes two minutes to register, and you can uncheck the boxes to indicate that you do not wish to receive any communications)!  If her entry is among the top ten, it will be included for consideration by the magazine staff who will make the final decision.  The publicity from this would be beneficial for Kim in sharing her music, but would also share with a wider audience some unusual ideas about the people God calls and the places to which God calls them.
