Dear CSTCA Members,

I am happy to announce that Mel Franklin has pulled bill CB-64-2013 from 
Wednesday's hearing schedule. So we will not need to take off from work 
to go down and testify against this bill. Thank you for being willing to 
take off your Wednesday to go to Upper Marlboro.

CB-64-2013 would have facilitated the transfer of land from the 
University of Maryland to a developer, only requiring a vote of the 
County Council to change the zoning at the time of conveyance to the 
developer. Thanks to the many people who helped turn up the heat on Mr. 
Franklin who is very closely tied to Senate President Mike Miller.
