Dear Go Players,

Just wanted to remind you that the Silver Spring Beginner/Intermediate Go Club will be meeting on Thursday, June 16th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Bump N Grind cafe.  As you know, we meet every first and third Thursday of the month, and, while we are open to everyone, we especially try to create a comfortable place for beginner and intermediate players to play and learn.

The Bump N Grind cafe is a short walk from the Silver Spring metro at 1200 East West Highway (410) about half way between Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road.  There is plenty of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.  The Bump N Grind has a really nice laid-back atmosphere, serves all sorts of coffee drinks, beer, wine, sandwiches, and other food.  It also has a regular DJ that plays good music (mostly vinyl), that can be pleasant in the background of our games.

We had a pretty good turn out last time (our first in Silver Spring), so I hope you’ll come join us if you’d like to play, teach, or learn this great game.

Best,

Laurie

P.S.  Please bring a board if you have one, but don’t worry if you don’t!
