If this is news to you, my apologies for the late announcement:
On the weekend of September 26-27 - one month from today - we are hosting a brand new American Go event: The 2015 ChangQi Cup
1) For the first time in history, the semifinals of an Asian professional tournament is being held on US soil. Four of the world's strongest players are coming to Cambridge, MA to compete - and Chang Hao 9p and other pros will provide continuous live commentary!
2) At the same time, a 4-round AGA-rated tournament is open to all amateurs, with two rounds each day, and a $4000 1st prize for the top division.
**Special prizes for the school that brings the most players, and the school with the best record!
The ChangQi Cup is hosted at Harvard University and sponsored by the Shanghai Ing Foundation, and registration isFREE. This is by far our largest event to date, and we hope you can join us!
If you're coming from out of town, we may be able to arrange a host for you on campus - use the contact info on the registration page.
Finally, if you can't make it but still want to follow the action, we will be broadcasting a *Live Stream* on the AGA youtube channel all weekend. Check usgo.org for details soon.
See you in Cambridge!
