Hello STEPS!
First, we want to say Thank You to all those who contributed to the Fall Festival this year! It was a very fun evening- the money raised will go toward supporting a family this Christmas season! We are also the recipient of a very generous donation from the Faith In Action Committee at UPark that will go toward this Christmas family as well! More info to come on shopping for our sponsored family.
Our next event is coming up very soon- Sunday, December 2nd 2-4pm.

UPark has been supporting homeless families who live in churches
until they find a job. Pastor Paul invited 35 families to have their
holiday party at UPark, Sunday, December 2, 2012.
Appetizers and cookie decorating are a portion of the event, but there
will be 44 children that would like some fun activities- that's where we
come in!
We haven't nailed down the activities yet, but suggestions so far are
board games, holiday crafts/coloring, bean bag tossing, pin the nose on Rudolph. We are looking
for volunteers to help out with the kids activities during this time.

Hi Meg and Liza!
Thanks so much for the update! Unfortunately, I have to be out of town again this weekend, so I won't be able to participate, but I am really excited to get more involved in STEPS and meet both of you! Please let me know if there are ever activities during the week as I am typically away on weekends for work.
