Friends,

Advent is upon us!! There are several opportunities in the days and
weeks ahead for you to experience the joy and fun of this season.
This week, we hope some of you can lend a helping hand:

1. Tomorrow - Thursday, December 6, 6:00 p.m. - Help us put together
costumes, props and sets for our annual Christmas Pageant. Our
children have been rehearsing and working very hard to ensure a
wonderful pageant on the 16th. Lend a helping hand tomorrow evening.

2. Saturday, December 8 - 9:30 a.m. - We need a few strong arms to
help us replace lightbulbs in the sanctuary. Thanks to Bob Howard, we
are switching to energy-efficient, long-lasting bulbs. so if you can
help us on Saturday, we won't have to change them again for a while!

3. Saturday, December 9 - 10:00 a.m. - Let's invite our neighbors to
Christmas Eve services! Help us spread the good news about our
Christmas service of Lessons, Carols and Lights. We will distribute
doorhangers to our neighbors inviting them to join us on the 24th. We
will repeat this effort for all the Saturdays leading up to Christmas.

Find some time this week to make a difference in the life of your
church - and the life of your community!
