Thank you for making Rally Day a great success!! Our worship service was well attended and the extended fellowship time was enjoyed by all. We started off the new year with quite a bang!
This Sunday, we will continue thinking about discipleship. For the first time, I will be facilitating ourAdult Forum with a special conversation about the prophet Jeremiah. You would be surprised to discover how relevant Jeremiah is to our world today! I hope you will consider joining the conversation after worship in Wesley Hall.
Here are some additional updates:
Holy Strollers: This week we will return to the West Hartford Reservoir on Sunday evening. You can meet us in the big parking lot off of Farmington Ave. at 6:00 p.m. or at the church at 5:20 p.m. if you need a ride.
Board of Trustees are meeting tonight at 7 p.m.
UMW Executive Committee is meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
If you have articles for the Epistle, we MUST receive them this week.
Staff-Parish Relations Committee meets Monday, September 17, at 7:30 p.m.
Education Committee meets Tuesday, September 18, at 7:00 p.m.
Outreach Committee meets Tuesday, September 18, at 7:30 p.m.
And don't forget that the Farmers' Market is still going on on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4 - 7 p.m.
Also, if you haven't thought of it before, think about joining our choir this year. Leading worship is a very rewarding experience, and if you can sing well, we can use your skills to celebrate God's love each Sunday! Speak with Nancy Robbins, our music director.
