Anyone else having problems with Firefox not loading Facebook? Over the past 24 hours have had no access (oh no what a shame). The status bar just reads "waiting for facebook.com...". I've disabled all the addons that might cause a problem: addblock and noscript and requestpolicy (nightmare combo) but still no Facebook (was thinking Facebook might have changed its domain requests).
I booted into Debian (dual boot) and no problem loading facebook with Iceweasel. Back to Arch and started writing this post, and thought to try Midori, and Midori loaded facebook without problem. So back to Firefox and guess what, Facebook loads.
I have a problem with facebook auth. I am using the regular flow for oauth. It works fine for twitter and google but on some devices facebook keeps failing. Instead of being redirected to the specified redirect url, users are redirected to www.facebook.com/#s=1 or =1 (on mobile devices)
I mention this because, with the SuccessRedirectUrlFilter the redirection works, but the value being stored in the cookie is still m.facebook.com. So, if i log out and try to log in again with twitter, I will be redirected to m.facebook.com.

I've never had a problem before across hundreds of websites and changed the password on many of them. It's still a mystery why 1Password was continuing to insert an old password, even though it had clearly updated inside the main application. Chances are it won't happen again.
Good day. I need an assistance regarding my setup of Sophos XG 310 Firewall. I tried to block facebook and youtube and was able to by using application blocking. The problem is I created a specific rule for allowing certain IPs from accessing youtube but to no avail. I already removed all the firewall rules, placed it on top and still cannot make the firewall allow those users. Can anyone from this forum guide me to the right path. i tried to monitor using the Live connection in Current Activities but I don't understand why all web activity are passing thru same rule wherein I allow only certain users to access facebook.
Good day. below are my firewall policy rules and application filter settings. The problem my Default Network Policy is the one blocking facebook and youtube. The New_Allow Facebook policy is the one allowing certain users with the fixed IP settings is working. My problem is the Allow youtube policy is not working. Can you assist me.
as soon the first rule is matched, the other rules are not even checked so your firewall rules (facebook and youtube) will only apply once (same users/network). You need to add in the same youtube Application Filter, even facebook apps, and you wil see that for example user Juren, will have both unlocked.
I started having this problem about 3 weeks ago. I updated to IOS 15.1, but it still stopped the dictation after 1 or 2 words. The solution I discovered is: magic tap and say your first word. When you get the shut-off tone, tap again and continue speaking. It stays on, for some reason. I did it twice in the same FB session.
The leaders of social media platforms have argued that their tools, despite their problems, are good for society, but this argument would be more convincing if researchers could independently verify that claim.

@xolani_coker We have too many serious issues for these guys to pretend like we are in silicon Valley. Twitter, Facebook etc does not solve problems without the core systems of state working - health, transport, power etc. I don't know who keeps bringing that guys tweet to my TL ?

im from Argentina. My ISP Is Telecentro. I use the deco as a router for 6 months with no problems. It only happends on Facebook world. YouTube or other videos or social media were working fine. There were no error messages, its like "charging" When i see your reply i switch de Deco from AP to router so i Will try DNS 8.8.8.8. but i switch and try first as default options and it works now!! Hello! I have a little problem that i'd like to solve. 1-2 years ago, I created account on Chess.com . Few days ago, I've discovered that there's an option to connect your FB with chess.com account, but when I started Chess.com app on FB, it logged me in under my real name. I wanted to link my FB with my first account, so I closed this account with my facebook name. Now I can't do anything in chess.com app because it says "this account was closed". Now is there still way to connect my first chess.com acc with my FB?
I can't run ads from my power Editor. I get the notification that I should add a payment method. I already did but I still get the notification that I should choose a payment method. I contacted PayPal they said the problem is with Facebook. I contacted my bank and they told me Facebook should solve this problem.
Please tell me what is going on.
I just created a post on this exact matter. I spoke with FB ads account, they informed me it is a on going problem with Paypal right now, and they are fully aware of this worldwide problem. In fact this has been on going. See you posted this in March. Did they fix this for you?
I believe this is something related to msttcorefonts or Ubuntu restricted extras or some terminal commands such as "fc-cache". I do not have this problem for any other webpage. I tried to reset font settings via MyUnity. I tried to create a new Firefox profile. I started Firefox add-ons disabled. None of them worked. I have been trying to find a solution to this but could not come across one at anywhere so I decided to ask here.
It's not the best solution, but however it works... I guess it's a bug with Firefox 30.0 - I hadn't any problem with Firefox 29... (I've noticed this problem after I updated Firefox to version 30.0 and LibreOffice to version 4.2.4.2)
