Lawyers for TikTok demonstrated that Trump officials' "failure to adequately consider an obvious and reasonable alternative before banning TikTok" renders the crackdown against the app "arbitrary and capricious," wrote Nichols, who is a Trump appointee.

"Here, the Secretary did not consider any alternatives before effectively banning TikTok from the United States, nor did the Secretary articulate any justification (rational or otherwise) for failing to consider any such alternatives," Nichols wrote on Monday.

Short-form video content is here to stay, whether you like it or not. From YouTube Shorts to Instagram Reels to TikToks, it seems everyone and their cat are creating content these days. But if this trend is so popular, why was Vine not able to pull it off?Remember Vine? The six-second looping video platform, in many ways, pioneered the short-form video trend. If Vine made short-video mainstream, why did it fail? And why is TikTok so successful if it works on the same core principle?Let's find out...

The biggest reason why Vine failed was because it had no monetization program to reward the creators on the platform. Vine was earning millions in ad revenue from user-generated content, all while its creators struggled to turn their creativity into a career.

Hi, I'm a brand new user and I have set up some Products and Linked to tiktok however my Products are not syncing with the TikTok seller centre. Is there some trick to get them to sync. I've tested with various dropship sites and they all sync into shopify but nothing will sync with TikTok?

Love how it says resolved but i bet it isnt!
anyone found out how to solve this issue in late 2022?
my products was on my showcase and i could add them to images as a tag product. But i wanted them to be also found via tiktok shop. So after many hours trying to add my products unsuccessfully i tried to dissconnect and reconnect the shopfify link and now no products show. I have numerous tickets open with tiktok and they are useless. Just get scripted replies all the time and not am actual person. Everything of mine is linked. Ad manager. Buisness center. Seller shop. Catalog manager. Even have brand approved and tiktok shop approved. And still not showing!!

Same buddy or i get i have passed it on to the relevant team and we will get back to you. They never do. Il add an image of all the cases i have tried. Its a piss take as being a small business and tiktok being ever so popular now you would think Shopify would have all this sorted and make access easier for us to link our products. We pay monthly to save having to do all the e-commerce ourselfs.
Instagram was a pain also and linking it all through facebook but this is on another level. Shopify need to update the app to work alongside tiktok shop.
i can create a product manually and it shows on my tiktok products but i REFUSE to have to do this for every product.

deleted everything. Re set everything up.
all my products show approved. And still no luck.
when i first set it up it did work on tiltok business profile.and i coulld tag my products in tiktok posts. But then when i wanted to add my products to showcase and shop so anyone on tiktok could find and see my products and share them. Thats where it all went wrong and stopped working. so if you dont have shop. Just seller center and tiktok business it may work for you. I have opened around 40 tickets with tiktok support and there terrible. Just scripted reply's all the time.

or they say its not available yet and is coming soon.
shopify need to sort it with tiktok so it integrates properly. You can add the products one by one onto your seller center so they show on your showcase but im not copying and pasting all my products again when i pay for a service that should have these things sorted

I FOUND A SOLUTION!!! (WARNING - its still not great) BUT - i downloaded the Automizely Feed app (free) and synced it to my shopify and tiktok, now I can list all my products, I still have to map them one by one (map means select the right product category and click sync, not too laborious) - but then the inventory levels and images etc will all feed automatically. Hope this helps

There are just not enough words in the English language to express my hate of this platform. The minute I can pay someone to migrate me to WooCommerce I am out. I cannot think of a worse platform that Shopify. It fails at everything. Naturally, the answer to their MANY failing is another damn app that costs a buttload of money. No thanks. Shopify and TikTok can kick rocks. Both are totally unprofessional.

So Ill explain this for everyone. I diagnosed it to my best ability this how this works. When you sign up to shopify, you create a unquie user/link/token ( example 8ddec-shopify 11123). As soon as you create a tiktok account/business where you type in your Id/license numbers for verification. it registers that shopify account to that id/number/license # to your tiktok seller account thats it is tied permanently too, to stop fraud. NOw this is the 1 million dollar mistake. As soon as you create a new shopify, try to avoid paying the 39.00 fee to get the dollar a month. you now broke the link, so when you try to register your new accout nothing works and it rejects your account as hello, this doesnt work. CAUSE SHOPIFY PROMOTES DELETING/Reseting instead of forcing you to keep your unquie ID, TIKTOK DOES NOT like that, AS IT IS THE ANTI FRAUD SYSTEM THEY HAVE IN PLACE.

(push shop id)>to tiktok seller account ->ddec-shopify 11123/ Licence ID # (permenant) _does not update - > error, you get this account is already connected to account (tiktok anti system). It stated somewhere you can only connect 1 account.

I'm trying to share a video on tiktok using the video kit api,the video I have is on a google cloud storage link so first I grab that from the cloud and attach it to a formdata with a readstream. I then make an axios post request to the given endpoint with my open id and access token (both of which are valid AND my post request is has the correct header which is multipart/form-data as specified on the docs).

After failing to upload a small sized I've noticed that you can't upload videos shorter than 3 seconds, the video I was trying to upload was exactly 3 seconds so seeing as that may be the issue I've tried uploading a larger video, and managed to get another error.

Numerous sales books have been written on the art of pitching. Interestingly, much of the material in those books has to do with prequalifying those one pitches. While some success might occur by flatly reaching out to every influencer uncovered in the previous steps, the failure rate on the bulk pitch is going to be a lot higher.

The only way to know if the Tiktok campaign was a failure or a success is to compare the result to its original goal. Over the course of a campaign, weak goals can be exposed, biases can be challenged, and tweaking may be necessary. The only way to fully understand the outcome is to perform a post-mortem.
In order to properly perform a post-mortem, the brand needs to commit to ample notetaking throughout the campaign process. Relying on memory over the course of a month or longer will result in lost details associated with how influencers responded to the pitch, the amounts and number that chose to negotiate, how long of a delay existed between pitch and posted review, as well as how many revisions were required.

There are a multitude of other data-driven questions that require data-driven answers which can only come from copious notetaking and data acquisition throughout the campaign. From those answers might come new ones such as whether different roles need to be involved to increase the success of the campaign in the future, whether the process can be tweaked to: 1. Do more 2. Operate faster 3. Operate at a lower expense. Additionally, you will need to consider whether the campaign needs to be expanded to multiple channels, or even scraped entirely due to other non-TikTok campaigns outperforming.
By fervently focusing on the details of the campaign, after the campaign is complete and setting aside emotions that may arise from those successes or failures, a brand can set themselves up for success rather than fall victim to failure.

The adjunct professor in the Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies department at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio is the former instructor of Olivia Krolczyk. Krolczyk is the student who created a viral TikTok in which she denounced her professor (unnamed in the video) for giving her a failing grade on an assignment because Krolczyk used the term "biological women."

In the TikTok, Krolczyk alleged that she was given a failing grade on a proposal for her Gender in Pop Culture course. She planned to write a paper in which she would argue that trans athletes competing in women's sports were taking opportunities away from "biological women."

"Though [the insurers] have received premiums, defendants allegedly failed to include any anti-theft device as required under federal regulations. Thus, the level of fault is almost entirely on the defendants," said Judge Selna.
