Element Name Field Almost Hidden

In the new UI I find (and a few clients that I've shown previews to) the Title or Name of an element doesn't at all look editable. Initially. It will take some getting used to that there's one editable field above the tabs while all other work is done below. Personally I disagree with this decision but can get used to it. However if you're going to have one field (that's mandatory) separated from all other editable content it needs to be more obvious that it's actually a field where data gets entered. I think it should be a slightly  more traditional input box with white background to the box on the grey header. The validation message and visual also needs to be much more obvious (I assume the current message is temporary). If you need a mockup to see what I'm referring to let me know but I think this is pretty obvious.
