Save button on right corner - too much far away?

Consider a 1080p monitor (who doesn't have one?), you have all the editing stuff on the left, while the save button is on the right corner.

I'm a keyboard shortcut addicted, so personally I go with CTRL+S, but thinking about average customers, they use mouse and the save button on the right looks out of place to me. It's too much fare away from the "editing area"

On the "old" umbraco it is on the left, and I think it makes more sense, since you are working on the left side of the screen, and having to go to the right side just to press save looks annoying, especially considering that after clicking save is very likely that you will need to click on the "sliding menu", which on the left.

So it will be a continuous "move to right corner - move to left corner - move to right corner - loop it a dozen times".

What about moving the save button to the left?
