template selection when creating new docs

as per title.

Basically when creating a new node, you currently select the doctype, this then creates the node using the default template.

Could be useful if you could visually select a template after selecting the doctype, or even instead of a template dropdown in the properties tab, there was an thumbnail/description associated with each template.
