Good morning

Thank you for this.  We are preventing visitors at Paradise Valley Nature Reserve (PVNR) from using the river for any purposes.  The lower E coli count at Philips Rd indicates the reduction of ecoli and nutrients after flowing through vegetated areas of the river.  Likewise the E coli count immediately upstream of the confluence of the Boom street stream and the confluence above the Umbilo Waste Water plant is quite low after flowing through 5 km of the reserve.  On the other hand it is relatively high immediately upstream of PVNR due to leaking sewer pipes etc.
