First, I would like to invite you to join us for the $5k UMass Amherst
Grinspoon Executive Summary Competition.

Second, I am happy to announce that undergraduate students can now earn
up to 3 credits per semester by participating in Entreclub (through the
Commonwealth College). We created this option hoping it would attract
and *retain* entrepreneurial students to our program. Initial results
seem very promising (>60% of students who attended our kick-off event
came to our second event, vs. last semester's 15%!). If these results
persist we will work to expand the number and kinds of credits &
requirements Entreclub can satisfy.
Third, some of our advisors kindly helped us realize that Entreclub has
certainly evolved away from a "club" and into something very different.
In that spirit we have re-branded ourselves "The UMass Amherst
Entrepreneurship Initiative", or simply EI. This includes a brand-new
website, designed by one of our students, and online at
http://www.umassei.org.
I hope to bring you news of many exciting results over the next few months.
