Complex polyline with multiple parts

I've successfully built complex polygons, that is, polygons with
multiple parts. I just add multiple arrays to the polygon points
property, such as:

points:[outer, inner1, inner2, inner3, ...]

Now I need to create a polyline with multiple parts. I've tried the
same format of adding multiple arrays to the polyline points property,
however it doesn't display the polyline, as the PolyLine only reads
the last point from array of points.

A polyline only seems to work if the points property is an array of
LatLng objects such as:

param.points.push(new LatLng(-10,-10));

Does the polyline points property behave differently than the polygon
points property?
