WP Plug-In: "Obtaining UMapper session.."

I created my account, validated the key (and saved), created a Map on
the UMapper site, but when I click the "u" icon while editing a page/
post, the pop-up hangs on "Obtaining UMapper session.." to no end.

OSX 10.5.7
Firefox 3.5.1

Wordpress 2.8.2
PHP 5

Any additional information I can most certainly provide and I would
appreciate any help please.

Also tested in Safari 4.0.2 with the same result: hangs on "Obtaining
UMapper session..".

I'm having the same problem, although it just shows a blank window
after "obtaining UMapper session." Upgrading to newest version of WP,
or trying alternate browsers, has the same result.

I am stuck with "Please re-validate your API key.."

Anyone found a solution? My problem is unchanged, although I am now
at WP version 2.8.4.

I have the same problem and the same config... Umapper site answer
that if i have the solution, i can post it... so i think that he
haven't any solution. Umapper 3..5 don't work. so if the "non free
version" works great (i don't want to have it, because i can't test
it...)...

i've got the same problem here.
i use the latest WP (2.8.5.) installed on a PHP5/MySQL server,
obtained an api key and validated it successfully.
i have one map created on the official site.
just to be clear: when i press U-button while editing a post i get a
umapper window. it shows me "Done!" message for a moment then it
becomes blank, without any sign of activity (no internet transfer, no
change for up to a half an hour). i tried editing with firefox 3.0.14,
opera 9.23, IE7, tried editing posts also while i was logged in on the
official site. it always ended with the same blank window.

Okay, so after 4 years this topic was opened, i have exactly the same problem.
Did anyone found a solution in these years, or is there none..?
