Hi,
I encounter a problem using either Chrome, Firefox or IE, when I use the function scroll to zoom (very useful), it also scroll the page!

It's very uncomfortable. I don't want to use a fixed view template (with no zoom) because I wish user can zoom).

Anything to suggest me to solve the problem?

Hi,

No news from UMapper since February 1srt, and the problem is still there.

This issue is common with flash on a webpage, the browser will give the webpage scroll priority over the flash. There are ways to fix it but javascript is involved and you must have permission to edit the page where the map is being hosted. It can also matter what web browser is being used. Here is a link that gives a solution

Hi,

Unfortunately, this solution is a bit 'extremist'.

The problem of scrollwheel and zoom whe rise doesn't mean no scrollwhell at al to scroll the page...

The embedded umapper map should capture the scrollwhell while the pointer is passing over it.

Hi

I totally agree with Valentin !

It's incredible that is not including in the source code of Umapper flash map... Every other map provider put it easily. why don't you,?

I didn't manage it with the link you gave. I need help for fixing it...

Thanks per advance

The scrolling issue will be fixed in the next release, the main problem though is this is a javascript issue.  If you want to disable browser scrolling when the mouse is over the map you must tell the browser thats what you want. And since disabling scrolling is browser specific, browser detection and conditional code is needed. So the current solution is to embed javascript in the swf as a string and call it over External Interfaces to dectect the browser and disable scrolling over an element, testing is still being done but it hasn't been the easiest solution to build because all browsers and operating systems have to be taken into account.
