Use UMap API with shape files map data

Does the Umap API can work with Shape files, or Tiles? How it should
be done?

You can certainly use custom tile sets with UMap. Take a look at these
classes to see how to create a custom provider:

UMap can't ingest shape files directly but if you convert them to KML
or GeoRSS then it will work.
