I created a coupon code for my Newsletter subscribers that expires in 7 days after someone subscribes but when I go to add coupons, there is no option in the dropdown menu to add coupons so does this mean that the coupons will automatically be generated in my email flowswithout the need to add coupons?
Hey Alison,
So I followed the steps and for some reason its giving me a 404 bad gateway. When I followed the steps laid out by Klaviyo the code doesn't even auto populate like it is supposed to.
Any ideas?
After you construct the link, place it in your Abandoned Checkout Email and whenever someone clicks on the link he will be redirected to the checkout page with his items already there and the coupon code already applied.
I created a private event checkout link and then created a discount coupon to send to my host. I went in to order an event ticket and put in coupon code where it asked to test process as I am new to Square using this feature. I get an error code back regardless of whether I type in the discount code name or put in the link. What am I doing wrong? I don't want to send my host this link until I know it will work.
Perhaps contacting Tech Support would be your next option. The Community is not the same as Tech Support or Customer Service although there's quite a bit of hands on knowledge here. Problem is no one here can look at account settings to see how you have things configured.
Did you create this coupon code via your Square Online dashboard, @SweetflourLLC or the Point of Sale dashboard? It would be helpful if you could also attach a screenshot. If you're unsure, this should be in your Square Online Dashboard under Settings > Coupons or Shared Settings > Coupons.
I got an email an hour ago about a coupon code, $72 for 72 hours. I tried to make a purchase and on the third try it seemed to work and then i got the message that it was no longer available and was removed from my order. I have no idea how to fix this.
Can anyone please confirm whether purchasing an upgrade/renewal adds 12 months to my current active upgrade time (in my case making it Nov '25) or would it just reset the 12 months to expire in Feb next year?
Hi, I am getting the above message when trying to create or edit an existing coupon. I've been trying for several days and keep getting the same error. Is there a known issue? Any tips on sorting this out?
I'm having this issue too when trying to input a coupon code. I've never created a coupon on my site before, but I really hoped to get it working now! I tried creating a code using Safari and Chrome browsers on my laptop and then also using both of those browsers but on my phone. I logged out and back in, restarted my computer (didn't think it would help, but I'm desperate!), nothing has worked! Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I have a coupon code from my UK bank NatWest for receiving a free subscription to Malwarebytes. But when I go to purchase a subscription on the Malwarebytes website the is nowhere for me to enter the coupon number. I opened a ticket to get support 9 days ago but haven't received a response so far, even after sending a reminder. Can anyone advise me on what else I should do?
NatWest is indeed part of the Royal Bank of Scotland. My bank provided me with the same link you did. I used that to create an account. However, once I sign into this account and want to purchase a subscription I cannot use the coupon code anywhere. See my attached screenshot for the info from NatWest. Since this is a public forum I have redacted part of the coupon code.NatWest code for Malewarebytes.pdf
After logging in I select the 1 year subscription and enter my details. However, there is only the option to proceed to buy. Normally, I should be able to enter my code at this stage. This would reduce the final amount due. I have attached screenshots 1 to 3 to illustrate.
Unfortunately, The only email I got was an automated message signed by Jason Todd, Associate Director, Customer Support. However, the email does have the line "Add your reply above this line", which to me would indicate that you can reply to that email.
Sign in there, and you should be able to enter the coupon code. After you've done so, you can switch your account back to the new experience again via a button in a banner near the top of the page. (The old account interface doesn't have the switch in the same place.)
Thank you for trying to help. Unfortunately, your suggestion didn't work. I followed your instructions. After being logged out and then logging in again through I ended up on the page which does not have a space for entering the coupon code. I tried this several times after making sure I deleted the cookies. Every time it takes me to the beta site where the my "New Experience" switch is on ON again.
Thanks for that. This looks like how it should work. At step 5 a window appears with a filed for the coupon code. Unfortunately, this is exactly the step that is not working for me. I do not get that window, no matter what I try.
We've made a change to the account associated with the e-mail address in your support ticket. That should make sure that you're not seeing the "new experience" on your account. It may also be a good idea to clear cookies for malwarebytes.com in your browser, just to make sure those won't persist a setting. If you're using Safari, open Safari's preferences, click Privacy, then click Manage Website Data. Search for "malwarebytes.com" and remove those cookies.
Before a UC San Diego department can order pay station coupon codes for parking, it must establish three roles in the system: Department Administrator, Fiscal Approver and Buyer. Anyone using the system must have Single Sign-On access and a valid chart sting. Your request is a recharge and requires budget information to process coupon code orders. The mandatory fields are project, task, funding.
Hi there!
I have a problem that's not a one time thing and it's hurts all of those sellers that give coupon codes to their costumers. I reported it to Etsy and they will pass it on to the products teams but I feel like it may means nothing... If more seller would report this problem for them than maybe they will considering the changes more quickly because it's hurts our sales and reputation on the platform.
Just today I have 3 customers claiming that my coupon code is not working. I already know what's the problem because they try to apply it at a wrong place: There are two places: "Apply shop coupon codes" at the products in the cart and a much more visible place with blue highlights at the checkout: "Apply Etsy coupon code". They always choose the Etsy coupon code field because it's much more visible and it's at the end of the buying process for them. I always tell them that they must have applied it at a wrong place and they always says: "Oh, you're right, thanks!"
My concern is not just that I have to explain and repeat myself for these costumers over and over again. I think the more problematic thing is that how many costumers or almost costumers had or will have a bad experience thinking that my coupons are not working and I tried to set them up? How many costumers get mad at my shop, and altogether Etsy because they tought that my coupon was a scam and how many of them didn't even finished their order because of the disappointment? I will never know, because I guess there is only a small percentage of them that actually contacted me about it and not just get angry and quit their order placing process or make an order with a bad experience from me and Etsy.
The ideal solution would be if the Etsy coupon code applying field was not there to confuse our costumers, or if it have to stay, then at least it should be at a less important
less visible, less highlighted place or it should be more understandable information about that field because "apply Etsy coupon" is not clear enough for costumers as a lot of them think that they are ordering from Etsy and not from different shops on Etsy.
I got the solution in the meantime from a seller in a social media group so I thought I share it here too. Maybe if someone have the same problem can learn the solution more easily than I did. My coupon code was jut too old for Etsy. It was only five months old but it seems that there was a glitch or something that made these whole situation where my customers can use the code at the "Apply shop coupon field" while can't use it at the "Apply Etsy coupon field". I just had to deactivate the "old" coupon and make a brand new with a different code name (sadly the same name didn't work even if the coupon was new). So that's it. I have spent lots of effort and hours with this but I guess it was worth it in the end If something seems off with the coupons try to deactivate them and make brand new ones because they can get "rusty" as in my situation.
I send physical coupons for my buying costumers too, to make them repeated costumers. And I use the 15% off coupons as a cart value increaser. I think for this porpuse it's important that the customer have to apply the code and to not just give them automatically, because it would loose it's purpuse as lots of costumers would get it automatically that would buy 2 or more jewelry anyway. But thanks for the idea, because I can see that it could be a solution if I just wanted to offer the percentage off for anyone who want to buy 2 or more pieces.
