Subject: Mail@umd Service Outage - August 17 at noon

The Mail@umd e-mail system will be unavailable for approximately 90
minutes beginning at noon on Sunday, August 17, 2008 while OIT staff
members perform system improvements. Users will not be able to send or
receive e-mail messages during that time. No e-mail will be lost during
the outage. All messages received while the system is offline will be
delivered to inboxes as soon as possible after service is restored.
