Hello AstroTerps,
Here is a wonderful opportunity led by grad students.
They are holding a series of workshops to help with applying to grad shool. Although the workshops are titled as such, any astro student planning to submit an application for an REU will also find the workshops helpful.
From the organizers:
"... the workshops as going beyond a standard presentation and being interactive and collaborative. Faculty and graduate student volunteers will help students draft and edit their CVs, personal statements, and research statements. The workshops are aimed at undergraduate seniors applying for astronomy graduate school, but could be useful for those applying to REUs as well.
