ACUSON Encryption Code Instruction

A) Case for new serial entry encryption only:
1) Execute ULTRA.EXE application.
2) Enter “ultras”.
3) On the “configuration list table”, using ↓ key to scroll down and
enter the configuration description and new serial.
4) On the Encryption String menu, select V20-ST01-Main.
5) Check and uncheck feature options. Some options may depend on HW
configuration. Press “Encrypt” button.
6) On the Encryption String menu, select V20-ST02-Transducers.
7) Check and uncheck probe options. Make sure particular probe’s
profile is installed on the MEMEX board. Press “Encrypt” button.
8) On the Encryption String menu, select V20-ST01-Main to make sure
options are appropriately selected.
9) On the Encryption String menu, select V20-ST02-Transducers again.
10) From the Configuration List, highline the serial.
11) Press “Copy Config” button.
12) Press “Config Report” button to print out Encryption code.
B) Case for Re-Encryption serial entry only:
1) Execute ULTRA.EXE application.
2) Enter “ultras”.
3) On the “configuration list table”, using ↓ key to scroll down and
enter the configuration description and new serial.
4) On the Encryption String menu, select V20-ST01-Main.
5) From the previous code, enter the first line here, press “Encrypt”
button. Check and uncheck options and then press “Encrypt” button
again.
6) On the Encryption String menu, select V20-ST02-Transucers.
7) From the previous code, enter the second line here, press “Encrypt”
button. Check and uncheck options and then press “Encrypt” button
again.
8) On the Encryption String menu, select V20-ST01-Main to make sure
options are appropriately selected.
9) On the Encryption String menu, select V20-ST02-Transducers again.
10) From the Configuration List, highline the serial.
11) Press “Copy Config” button.
12) Press “Config Report” button to print out Encryption code.
