Here is what I get for recommending a tire; this weekend the sidewall
separated from the wire bead while inflating (about 100 psi); take a
look:

Just so happens- One of our customers brought in a Gatorskin last week with
a very similar failure. Our shop will be returning it for a warranty
refund, and Conti will be aware of it soon. I can't remember seeing
failures like these before; perhaps Conti has left out a layer that usually
wraps the bead to save weight or something...

Maybe if you weren't trying to be a macho man and were
using 25c's, it wouldn't have happened. Probably still using
an old double chainring, too.... >>>> ;-))))))
