Winners at Hoodoo 500

Team BHB - Doug Rock, Scott Smith, Colt Albrecht and Jason Hafen, all
from the St. George, Utah area, took the relay team division with a
super time of 26 hours 47 minutes. They fought BRUTAL headwinds for
the last 100 miles -- but came in looking strong, and happy to be the
first racers ever to cross a Hoodoo 500 finish line.

Six teams have now finished, including Team N.U.B.S, which consists of
Team RAAM Finisher Scott Dakus, and his eleven year old son, Andrew,
Tracey Fisher, and her eleven year old son, Cory.

First Place Solo Racer, Ton van Dealen, from San Diego, had a great
race and an awesome time of 36 hours 45 minutes. Second place
finisher, Jared Fisher came in at 38 hours 39 minutes. He rode the
entire course on a used road bike with platform pedals and sandals. He
also wore regular, NOT bike, shorts. And he came in with a smile!

We're waiting on Janet Christiansen, the only female racer, who's
competing as a "voyager" division racer - completely self-supporting.
Two men, Keith Krombel and Mike Sturgill also entered this division.
Keith is also out on the course. Mike called it a day.
