NASA LADEE launch at Wallops

Hi,

I find myself on my way to Virginia this week, and with generously guided access to Wallops Flight Facility.  It's kind of surreal -- having followed these subjects for a few years, now.

If anyone can formulate any questions on WFF topics including flying rockets, balloons, and uavs, please let me know.

i tried to get as much balloon construction detail as possible, here

most of their team was out in New Mexico

i guess you know that they use a heat & tape process to make seams

the tape and panel construction encapsulates poly line with rigid top and bottom caps

there's a number of launch techniques, which are related to balloon size

the largest balloons lift 6 thousand pounds (2700 kg) with millions of cubic feet (x * 28 thousand cubic meters) of lifting volume
