L-Gap and ExtIO_RTLSDR.dll with hdsdr 2.14

someone had made a zip file that had a new ExtIO_RTLSDR.dll and another file that could be unzipped into the hdsdr dir and when you started hdsdr up you could select either that dll or ExtIO_USRP.dll (the original)

if you selected the newer ExtIO_RTLSDR.dll you could then use the options and select the rtlsdr device instead of the usrp device

anyhow the new files fixed the L-Gap hole

could someone post or relink the files or tell me how to get hdsdr with no hole

I figured some of it out

you have to have the latest RelWithDebInfo.zip from  http://sdr.osmocom.org/trac/attachment/wiki/rtl-sdr/RelWithDebInfo.zip 

unzip the dll`s from the 32bit dir into your hdsdr dir

then get ExtIO_RTLSDR.zip (for the 2Msps version) or get ExtIO_RTLSDR_1msps.zip (for the 1Msps version)

MD5 for ExtIO_RTLSDR.zip = 5013953E7A0055AF8950E0A934714B08

MD5 for ExtIO_RTLSDR_1msps.zip = AA843EBDC6C558644BC24E6AD0CC4570

but those are NOT the newest one as there is no GAIN control when you clock on the "ExtIO" button in HDSDR

There is another File somewhere that someone has that fixes this problem so we get the Hole (fix) AND gain control from within the HDSDR ExtIO Button.

if someone finds it please post it as some people still like HDSDR

Wait wait. It means that the L gap is a software problem, not a hardware problem? Does this means that we can tune to 1150 Mhz now?

they are trying to keep them a secret

there is one more file that is even better then what i just posted and it has GAIN selection AND you can change the SAMPLE RATE.

that is the file im trying to get

i know some people out there have it because I USED TO HAVE IT

i formatted my computer and didnt save like a stupid head :)

so will the person that has please post it so some of us people who like hdsdr can use it correctly?

Maybe you will need the mfc100u.dll to copy in windows/system32(don't see the dll).
